Medicare Certified

If you have been in the hospital and your doctor feels that you are not yet strong enough to return home, you are encouraged to consider Heritage of Bel-Air. Our professional staff members will work with you to achieve the strength and skills needed for you to return home. While you are receiving rehabilitation services, the cost of your care may be covered by Medicare.

Therapies

These services give each resident the opportunity to ultimately achieve the highest level of independence possible. Professional Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists are available at Heritage of Bel-Air. We also offer these therapies to the community on an outpatient basis.

Occupational Therapy strives to help residents gain their maximum independence in daily activities, which, in turn, helps build self esteem and dignity in their lives. Physical Therapy focuses its efforts on mobility - for example, ambulation (walking). Helping the resident walk, as independently as possible, brings back a sense of hope and confidence.

Speech Therapy assists residents who have problems with speech or swallowing.

Memory Support (Alzheimer's and Related Dementia Care)

The staff at Heritage of Bel-Air understands the difficult decision families must make and special needs associated with Alzheimer’s and related dementia. The Memory Support Neighborhoods are designed with those needs in mind. We offer families the reassurance of 24-hour supervision and memory support for loved ones in a secured, activity-centered environment.

Our Memory Support Neighborhoods provide a secure, stable setting that promotes dignity and quality of life for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or related dementia. They are designed to maximize independence while catering to the special needs associated with Alzheimer’s. Whenever possible, we work to restore health, with the ultimate goal of helping residents lead more independent lives.

Our experienced staff is involved in all phases of adjustment and rehabilitation. We establish individual care plans based on the recommendations of the resident’s physician, our own health care professionals, the residents, and the family members.

Residents also are involved with daily activities such as crafts, movies, live musical entertainment, summer barbecues, exercise, and lots more!

Benjamin Bel-Air Cottages is an exclusive location on the campus of Heritage of Bel-Air, where you can enjoy the carefree lifestyle of retirement living. Our beautiful two bedroom cottages are fully equipped and ready for you to furnish with your own cherished possessions. Two beautifully designed layouts are offered. All include spacious two-bedroom, 1 ½ bath or 2 bath, 2 car garage and your own cozy gas fireplace. Many services and amenities are INCLUDED. Let us worry about the repairs as you enjoy your own private community.

Whenever possible, we work to restore health, with the ultimate goal of helping residents lead more independent lives.

Hospice

If your loved one has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and your family wishes to receive education related to a particular disease, grief support, or simply a listening ear, our team of professional nurses will work with family members to provide around-the-clock support and comfort for your loved one.
